^I hate that. Thankfully this time around nobody has said anything.

I can't think of anything child related. I get unwanted advice all the time from my mom though haha.

My mom gives me unwanted advice all the time! It can be very annoying!

The only advice I can think of is that we should be done having children and we would be INSANE to have any more. Cause you know, it's their business and all.

Oh yes! We get that too. Or we're told we need to wait a few years. I hate it.

I just thought of one my mom does, she means nice and all but she's grandma and hates seeing the boys in trouble. So I get little advice/comments when they're being punished in front of her. Oh its a joy I tell you.

I get we should be done to and we only have 2. Especially my MIL, she voices her opinion everytime the baby subject comes up. Kristy you don't need anymore children, 2 is plenty...ughh! Why don't you leave that up to me and my husband to decide. It actually offends me, it makes me feel like she doesn't think I am a good mom.

It is offensive honestly. Why do people feel the need to voice their opinions on such private matters? It's not like I voice my opinions on stuff to them. I would like to, but I don't.

I have heard people be told they should stop at two because they have one of each. Really? Is that all that matters?

I'm told that 3 boys is enough and I shouldn't try for a girl. We aren't going to try for a girl, if we get a boy, that's just fine. But we both want at least 4! A girl would be a perk haha.

I totally agree Marisa, It doesn't matter what gender I get or have. I want another baby, not a specific gender. I've been told that exact thing, "now you have one of each, you need to stop"....seriously? I didn't know she had a say in MY life. Oh well, I just brush it off. If a third is meant for us, then there is nothing anyone can do about it.

Nope!

You should take your about to pop pregnant belly (if the 3rd does work out!) to her one day and just pop it in front of her and go "BOOYAH! What now?!"

I haven't necessarily gotten any unwanted advice as much as comments. Now that I am still breastfeeding a one year old I have gotten a few comments.

Yea, this one drives me batty. My ovaries, my choice.

My MIL is constantly on about a schedule. Well, we are on one now and anyways she is the most unfocused, random, unorganized non scheduled person out there, so she can kiss my hiney!

We got the same thing from Kevin's mom, although it's finally stopped. About a week ago she sent him a message that bugged him and he finally let her know his feelings about her constantly telling us we should "wait a while" before having another one. He mentioned that he Is 31 and i am 29 and we're not getting any younger. Plus it's OUR life and we don't ask her for anything so she really has no place to tell us how many children we should have or when.

Luckily the advice has slowed down a little but people still like to ask me about his eating habits cause he's not a good eater... as in, "Have you tried yogurt?" and stuff like that. Like they think I'm just not trying the right things, when I have tried everything under the sun and I know my son best. Also, like Carrie said, I have gotten a couple "Oh, you are still nursing?" questions. Yep. Wasn't my plan, but that's what Jackson wants and I am making the decision to continue. Not their problem.
