So we're still living with my sister for another week. This morning she says she sent me an email that was sent to her by the city. Apparently there is a someone breaking in to kids rooms in the neighborhood. One incident a screen was taken out of the window and there was a chair under the window. A week later in the same neighborhood the screen was taken out and the child woke up to someone
sitting next to their bed.
This is totally freaking me out. I'm home alone during the day with the kids and I'm totally scared. I usually shower when they're napping and now I don't want to do that anymore, but that's the only time I get to shower. I don't want to open the window's either. This is the only time I'm glad they have a dog and a dog that barks at strangers. DH, me and Josh are in one bedroom on the main level and Alex is upstairs in his own room with a baby monitor. At least Alex is upstairs so they can't sneak in his room without a ladder, but it also is scary that he's up there alone in his room, granted his cousins are in the next room over and aunt and uncle across the hall. But yeah, anyways...just wanted to share this and how much I'm freaked out.
