Since cold weather is starting how do you keep baby warm in the carseat? I know that you shouldn't put jackets on the baby in the carseat. Aidyen hates blankets on him so I usually put him in long sleeves and pants when it's cold but he still seems cold?

You can use fleece jackets.

I just bought Kaileigh a new one from old navy. I cant be overly- large and bulky but as long as it's snug and fits correct you can use the fleece.

I also keep 2 blanks under the seat to use for the kids as needed.

I have always just kept the car so toasty warm, that no one needs anything more than a shirt while in it I am a tiny person, so I am cold a lot, so I just crank the heat and no worries that my baby will be cold. Also, Ty and all my kids have always loved blankeys so I keep a pile of blankets in the car year round in case they are needed. I have never used a coat on any of my kids in a car, whether they are in a carseat or an older kid/teenager.

I also use fleece jackets, and just picked up a fleece car seat blanket from Walmart the other day. It's like a bunting bag, but it's thin enough I think it will do the trick keeping her warm without adding bulk.
