So,last night my grandmother passed away, I am hoping to make it home to her funeral, which is supposed be this weekend. But my hometown in PA is about to be flooded. My whole family is being evacuated, we own a two family house there, where we just rented them out, they do not have flood insurance and it is expected to reach the first floor which means both of the furnances and water heaters and all of our stuff we left in the basement for storage is going to be ruined. I can't stop crying, this is a nightmare. I am praying the river doesn't go over it's banks, please say a prayer for my family.

oh my gosh, kristy! you are definitely in my thoughts and prayers. how horrible! I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother, and I really hope you catch a break and it doesn't flood.

The levee was able to get repaired and the river crested!! Thank goodness, there is still major flooding all over the area, so we still don't know when they are going to have her wake and funeral. I hate not knowing since I have to drive over 6 hrs to get there.
