What scares or creeps you out the most?

I watch a lot of crime shows, so I get scared or creeped out at night thinking of someone breaking in and hurting one of us.

I don't want to live on the ground floor because I am afraid of intruders/murderers/rapists/kidnappers, but I don't want to live higher than the second floor in case of a fire and we have to jump from a window.

The dark! I know it sounds childish, but I don't like the dark at all. We have tons of night-lights around our house, and I have a flashlight in my diaper bag and in the car, just in case.

oh yeah, I am petrified of insects or anything that can sting or bite you, or comes in a group.

Im scared of dying, which really sucks cause i think its inevitable, but more specifically im scared of dying young and not getting to watch my kids grow up, im scared of my DH or our kids dying

im like Lori and i watch to many crime shows so im scared of all those bad things too

Hmmmmm....I'm going to have to go with heights/falling/crashing. I am not a big fan. I do try and do stuff like rock climb to try and help with it, but I'm not any good at it mostly because I am so cautious. I also tried mountain biking and was so scared of falling that I would go too slow and fall, lol.

Um... I don't enjoy walking around my apartment alone in the dark but I think that's just from too many scary movies. I have a nightlight in my room, I say it's "for Jackson" (We still co-sleep)

I really don't like snakes, they gross me out. I am fine with insects and rodents though, they don't bother me for some reason. I mean I wouldn't go up and give a spider a kiss but I don't run screaming from the room.

I don't like medical-related anything. I hate being in hospitals, or even getting checked out at the Doctor. I am afraid of illness and disease. Needles bother me but I am little better now that I have had to be poked several times since becoming pregnant.


Here is a weird one, and perhaps my biggest fear: I HATE thunderstorms. I almost died in one once (power line fell 10 feet from my car) and it was crazy. To this day, if there is a bad/noisy storm I will hide in the basement. I can't stand seeing it/hearing it and I always worry that the house will get hit by lightning or it will turn into a tornado.

Oh and I hate big bridges. I close my eyes (in the passenger seat!)

I also get creeped out by all the crime shows I watch. And I read a lot of news online about people being murdered or child molesters.

I guess my scariest thought is not being able to watch my kids grow up because something happens to them or me.
