Ty doesnt really have enough hair to brush yet Though he has gotten quite a bit of hair this summer, its blond, so he still can look pretty bald. I think we are still a long way off from "brushing" his hair.
Who all is brushing their babies hair?

I find when I brush Luca's hair it frizzes so I just condition it and comb it with my fingers. He has crazy hair!

I had one of those baby brushes (with the really soft bristles) that I was using for awhile. She has gotten a bit more hair lately (I can put teeny tiny pigtails in now!), so it doesn't seem to do the trick. I use a comb on her -- but only after her bath. If her hair is dry I can pretty much just run my fingers through it.

Only when he brings me the hairbrush and wants it brushed, usually I just use my fingers.

Yep he has always had crazy hair so we always brush it after his bath.

I try and keep it cut fairly short but even when it's long (like it is now) no because it's crazy curly and still looks good. I'm taking him for another hair cut when we get back from Michigan this week.

I comb Kellen's and he likes to do it himself too.
I am obsessed with news anchor hair for him at the moment...I think I'll probably go from that to a mohawk when it gets longer...lol.

I finger comb it while it's wet, which is all I do with mine. (Trying to follow the " Curly Girl method". Does anyone else? )

I've never heard of that!! I want to try!! My hair is super curly and super frizzy...I always have it either pulled back or flat-ironed. So you just use a conditioner, and that's it? What conditioner do you use?

I have heard of that method only because I'm jealous and always wanted curly hair. Mine is stick straight!!!!
Anyway, I finger comb Emmett's hair. But he likes to comb and brush his hair when I comb and brush mine in the morning. That kid has some hair. He needs a 3rd haircut but I'm going to see how long we can go before DH says something about it.

Here's more of a step-by-step. I've tried the no-poo, but haven't been able to make that leap.

I do comb her hair, she pretend combs her hair. She loves it. Says "pretty" when we comb her hair. But then I ask you, what is the point? She hates bows and anything in her hair or on her head, and it's just getting long enough to do little tiny pig tails, but I know that's all wasted effort too...5 seconds after I comb her hair, it's a mess again.
Also, her growth pattern is a really tight swirl on her head, so she has so many cowlicks, there's no controlling it.
I'm working on getting up the nerve to get her in for her first hair cut. I have a feeling once we do that, things may become a bit more manageable.

I need to check this out!
Wyatt's hair is straight and I'll lightly brush it or use my fingers.

Owen's hair is getting thicker all the time. We've been brushing it for awhile now. He likes to brush it himself.

Vincent has lots of hair and it usually looks pretty crazy. I try to brush it on occasion but he LOVES hair and his hands and fingers are frequently in his hair (or mine - especially if tired) so it seems like there's hardly any point to brushing it since it tends to only stay looking nice for maybe 10 minutes. I honestly have no idea where his brush or comb is at the moment.

I usually staighten my frizzy, thick curls, but I do try the CG method when I wear it curly. I can't do the no-poo thing (I made it 4 days and couldn't take it anymore!) but my curls are far prettier when I finger comb & "plop". DH laughs at the t-shirt tied around my head, though.

Ethan LOVES to have his hair brushed. He smiles and giggles and leans into it. He loves it!
