Do your babies wear hats?

Ty refuses to wear a hat It has really bothered me this summer because I had to cover his bald head in sunblock since he would not keep a sunhat on for even 1 second! Now winter is coming and I am afraid he will refuse to wear a winter hat too.

It was such a change for me because Julia has always loved hats since birth and still wear them all the time.

Have you bought their winter hats? or will they even wear one?

Maggie hated her hats this summer too, but got to a point where she would fight me less on it. For winter, I haven't bought her winter clothes yet, but I plan on doing the thumbless mittens again, and hoping for the best. Ties are your friend...lol

Sydney loves her hats!!! Which is great b/c I love hats so I'm always trying to find fun hats for her. Today she had on a little newboy style hat and she looked super cute. She'll put things on her head now and say "hat".

Noah doesn't like hats either, for winter hats I bought some last year at the end of the year on clearance and I think they tie on.

We will try big brothers old hats but I'm not real optimistic that he will leave them on.

I haven't bought a winter hat yet but his didn't like his sun hat. Fortunately it has a strap that prevented him from pulling it off though.

No hats! She hates them but she loves bows and barrettes and won't touch them! Go figure!

No hats here either. I'm hoping she'll be open to winter hats, but I won't be holding my breath. Maybe a hooded sweatshirt or coat...

You just triggered my memory to last winter...I suddenly remembered why we didn't have all those problems with her hats last winter...it was the thumbless mittens for one, but I now remember that I always put the hood of her fleece cosy over her hat...this helped to keep it all on. So that could also be a good trick for you - depending on where you live...double up. I can do it easily here. It gets cold enough.

Harper wore lots of bucket hats throughout the summer. If it gets chilly I bought some super sweet knit hats from Etsy for her. They're a little more snug than the bucket hats, so I'm not sure how she'll like them.
