Mom is coming down to pic-up Ethan tomorrow & keeping him at her house until I drive up on Friday. She is watching him & Avery for 5 days in October when DH & I go on a cruise. She says its a trial run for him because he's never been away from me over-night... I think it might be more of a trial run for me.
I'm sure he will do fine and the time will fly by. I know my kids are always super excited to get to stay at Grandma and Grandpa's without Mom and Dad. I think it is harder for us as parents though.
