Anyone else's little one throwing tantrums??? Oh my gosh I am ready to go bonkers here. Natalie is the worst child I have ever had with tantrums. I have never seen a kid have tantrums this early. A couple days ago she carried on for like 20 minutes all because I wouldn't let her click on the computer. I even shut the computer down and put it up and she still was carrying on. She was literally rolling around on the floor, kicking her feet and everything - INSANE!
I really am not sure what to do with her when she does this. I am trying to ignore her when she does it and I told dh I am going to start putting her in another room and shutting the door I think if she keeps this up. I don't know if that is the best approach, but I do not know what to do with these tantrums.

im sooo sorry!! Mya must have taught both of your daughters how to do this perfectly... Its crazy. I just laugh watching her go so wild like she does. Sprawled out head face down arms flying and feet swinging every which way and screams that scare the neighbors all over the smallest stupidest thing ever. Next phase please!!

It's not just the ladies! Brendan is a champion tantrum thrower. The littlest thing will set him and he cries and screams and kicks like his little world is ending.
I normally set him down, put a toy near him and say "x is waiting for you when you're done" and then walk away, or sit down but won't acknowledge him anymore.
He will cry for another minute and then roll over sit up and decide the toy is better than screaming.
I pray this solution will continue to work but I doubt it haha,

Arielle throws herself back and rolls on the floor crying. Then if she hits her head when she throws herself back, that makes her scream even more. I usually just tell her no-no and let her finish the fit.

Heidi stomps her feet when angry as well as bats her hands out and imaginarily smacks things offered to her away. Also will deliberately hurl food I offer her as well as throw her cup.
...she scares me.

Yep, I have a temper tantrum performer too, he does it whenever I take something he shouldn't have away. I don't know what to do either, I've been trying to redirect his attention, it works most of the time.

Hallie throws her head back, kick, screams and smacks anything near her. I normally just let her lay in the floor. If she gets really bad I will put her in her crib until she calms down. At least she can't hurt herself in there.

Yes Miranda can be very dramatic too. I attribute it to her learning it from her older siblings. She will throw things and if you don't let her have her way she'll throw herself on the floor and cry. And she can be very persistant. No matter how many times I tell her she can't have it, she will keep on trying to get it.

Hadley isn't my worst, but she all the sudden started having really bad ones. At first it was just when she wouldn't get her way. Then she would scream and throw herself backwards or forwards and slap things away or throw things, just like some of your LO's are doing. Then the other day I left her for 2 hours with the daycare at a MOPs meeting. This was the first time she had ever been left with strangers, and hasn't been left with family very often. After that she will NOT let me leave her sight. She will scream and follow me wherever I go. Will not go to anyone else willingly INCLUDING her daddy. She started screaming every single time I change her diaper, or try to put clothes on her, where she used to laugh when I would do these things. She has always been perfectly happy when I put her in her carseat, now she will scream and thrash around making it impossible for me to buckle her in. I have to fight so hard to get the top fastened, then walk away and calm down for a few seconds, then go back and deal with round 2 to get then bottom fastened. I am about to lose my mind. What can I do? She also got sick the same night as the MOPs meeting and ended up with a mild ear infection rt after, so do you think it is that? She is on antibiotics now, but shouldn't she be feeling better already. What could turn a happy baby into this?

I must apologise that I did giggle quite a bit reading these since I can imagine these dear little adorable ones throwing tantys!.. And I find it a tad... sorry to say.. CUTE!!!... I think just because they are sort of starting to be their own 'little people'.... Gabe hasnt done any full blown tantys yet... But he gets cranky when he has something he shouldnt and I take it off him.. But then he wanders off again.. So it doesnt last very long but even when he gets cranky I have to hide a little bit of a giggle... hehe
