How many of us are still offering bottles to our LO's? I try to milk in his sippy cup but he won't take it... I've tried different sippy cups but he still fusses until he gets his "bottle"...more so when he is tired! Just wondering and seeking advice, I guess

Miranda still gets at least 2 bottles a day. Funny thing is that she'll only take a bottle from me. At the babysitter's she refuses and they have to give her milk in a sippy or spoon it into her.

Claire still gets one in the morning, one before bed at night, and sometimes one before a nap if she's really fussy. She just started drinking water from her sippy really well, so hopefully it won't be long before she will drink milk from it, too.

Isaac never would take a bottle. He's still breastfed but also gets whole milk in a sippy cup during meals.

I wouldn't say willingly offering bottles. I would say for us it's ending the battle because it's becoming a lose/lose type situation. We're trying to wean him off them but he's putting up a big stink about it. My other two switched so easily. He's set in his ways, which is fine, but he won't even drink milk out of his sippy. And it has to be room temp. So I warmed it up for his nap and stuck it in a bottle. I'm wondering how much will actually still be in there. He's being super stubborn. I'm not in a rush but I'd like him to start taking it from the sippy, you know?

No advice to offer because what worked for my first two is not working this time haha.

Brendan won't drink milk out of his sippy either. Water he does fantastic and has for quite awhile. I need to be more consistent with offering him his milk out of the sippy and not the bottle, but I just haven't decided it's worth the battle quite yet.

I am in the same boat as most of the ladies here, Tommy is not giving it up so easily. So I am just going to keep giving him the sippy cupy first and if he puts up a fight, I give him the bottle.

Ross still gets bottles, hes too stubborn to use the sippy, so im not going to force it. the way i see it in the grand scheme of things it really doesnt matter if he takes a bottle until hes 2 or even 3. I know there are plenty of battles to come worth fighting and taking a bottle past a year isnt one of them

No bottles here. Hallie gave her's up without a fight. I slowly weaned her from it using a Nuk learner sippy and now she gets cold milk out of a sippy through the day and then a warm sippy from her Nuk right before bed. I am slowly trying to wean her from that, but no hurry for it.
