So, I posted somewhere else that I am exhausted- like every day. I get up at 530, go to work, get home at 4, cook dinner, play with Emily, and then fall into bed at like 830. I know that sounds early, but I can't keep my eyes open. DH complained today and said I should start drinking coffee so that we have more time together at night after Emily goes to bed at 730. I drink one coke a day, but I guess thats it for caffiene. Anyone have any suggestions? I know this sound dumb, but I am getting 8 hours of sleep, just dont feel like it.

Sounds familiar. Mine was due to anemia. I take an iron pill twice a day now and I feel like a new person!

You know I was just about to ask are you anemic. Just listening to your day sounds exhausting. I know you are a teacher and I can imagine dealing with kids ALL day EVERY day is a battle in itself. I'm sorry I have no real advice. Hopefully someone in here can give you some great suggestions.

not only iron - B12 is a big factor too.
I hear you though -- since I've been back to work, I get up at 6am, work until 5 , get home by 5:30pm, get supper ready, Sydney bathed and in bed and by 8 or 9pm I'm exhausted b/c I know I have to do it all again tomorrow.

I do take B12 everyday ( I have a history of low B12 levels), as well as a multi-vitamin. Drink lots of water too.

Exercise. It sounds like it would deplete your energy but it's not the case for me. At least moderate exercise helps me feel more energetic. Going all out will make me sore and tired, but I don't have time for that very often anyway.

Oh, good call on the exercise! I always find myself feeling better after taking a walk, even if it's just around the block.

Are you dehydrated, maybe? Or have you had your thyroid looked at?
