It's getting to be that time again. Something I have been thinking about and then saw Marisa post about in another thread is the seasonal clothing switch. Here in FL we get extra time to procrastinate this task so I'm thinking Oct 1st I will do the whole house at once and be done.

1. First off, where do you live and when does it get cold there?

2. When do you pack away the summer clothes and bring out warmer stuff?

3. Do you do it in increments like for the limbo time when you need both types bc the weather fluctuates so much (at least here it does)? Or all at once?

4. Do you switch your whole house hold at one time?

5. (An off topic question) Do you decorate your house for the fall?

1. First off, where do you live and when does it get cold there? I live in Northern Lower Michigan, near Lake Michigan. It gets very cold here. We normally sit at 5-20F

2. When do you pack away the summer clothes and bring out warmer stuff? When the temps stay consistent in dropping

3. Do you do it in increments like for the limbo time when you need both types bc the weather fluctuates so much (at least here it does)? Or all at once? I bring out a few warm things and stay in limbo till it stays consistent with not going up and down between temps.

4. Do you switch your whole house hold at one time? Everyone at once

5. (An off topic question) Do you decorate your house for the fall? I try to, I love fall.

. First off, where do you live and when does it get cold there? It is starting to get cool here now, it is 62 today. I would say consistently cold at the beginning of next month

2. When do you pack away the summer clothes and bring out warmer stuff? September

3. Do you do it in increments like for the limbo time when you need both types bc the weather fluctuates so much (at least here it does)? Or all at once? Yeah I do it increments, we tend to layer a lot because mornings are cold, afternoons are warmer and evenings are cool.

4. Do you switch your whole house hold at one time? All at once.

5. (An off topic question) Do you decorate your house for the fall? We love fall colors, so yes we do.

1. First off, where do you live and when does it get cold there? I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. it starts to cool down in September.

2. When do you pack away the summer clothes and bring out warmer stuff? usually after labour day

3. Do you do it in increments like for the limbo time when you need both types bc the weather fluctuates so much (at least here it does)? Or all at once? I bring out the winter stuff all at once, but I keep some summer outfits out for the rare warm days. by october all the summer stuff is gone.

4. Do you switch your whole house hold at one time? DH and I don't put any of our clothes away, so it is just the kids.

5. (An off topic question) Do you decorate your house for the fall? no. we are in an apartment, so no one sees it lol. but, I can't wait to decorate for Christmas!

3. Do you do it in increments like for the limbo time when you need both types bc the weather fluctuates so much (at least here it does)? Or all at once? I do it all at once

1. First off, where do you live and when does it get cold there? Near Tallahassee Florida and last year it was getting cool towards mid October which shocked a lot of us. It doesn't really get COLD here until Jan/Feb, LOL
What's interesting is we've had pretty cool weather as soon as September started and it's still coolish

2. When do you pack away the summer clothes and bring out warmer stuff? I haven't been consistent in the past. Usually put it off as long as possible and did it in sections. (November maybe? ) This yr I don't want to break it up like that.. it's too agonizing.

3. Do you do it in increments like for the limbo time when you need both types bc the weather fluctuates so much (at least here it does)? Or all at once?I guess I answered that in question 2

4. Do you switch your whole house hold at one time? Usually don't, this time I WILL.

5. (An off topic question) Do you decorate your house for the fall? usually don't but this weekend I'm going to borrow some of my mom's extra decor (she has tons). But DH isn't a fan of seasonal decor. Party pooper! So, I'll have to keep it light.

1. First off, where do you live and when does it get cold there? Southern Connecticut, we have the standard four seasons so it gets cold around October, usually snows by late November. Winters are harsh in New England.

2. When do you pack away the summer clothes and bring out warmer stuff? Well Jackson is my only child and he has way outgrown all his winter clothes from last year obviously so they all went away in storage months ago and we will have to buy him new winter clothes soon.

3. Do you do it in increments like for the limbo time when you need both types bc the weather fluctuates so much (at least here it does)? Or all at once? We have much limbo time here in New England so I keep most of his stuff out until it is clear he won't need it again.

4. Do you switch your whole house hold at one time? DF and I leave everything in our closets, I just put Jackson's stuff away as he outgrows it.

5. (An off topic question) Do you decorate your house for the fall? I would if I had money! Maybe a pumpkin or corn husk here or there but that's about it. I live in a 2nd floor apartment anyway so I don't have a yard to decorate.

1. First off, where do you live and when does it get cold there? Washington State, um every one says about now and so far its been true..lol This is our first fall here. We moved here in January.

2. When do you pack away the summer clothes and bring out warmer stuff? For Rosie I am in the process of doing it now. For us never

3. Do you do it in increments like for the limbo time when you need both types bc the weather fluctuates so much (at least here it does)? Or all at once? I am doing all at once but will keep out a few summer outfits.

4. Do you switch your whole house hold at one time? I will once the baby is here.

5. (An off topic question) Do you decorate your house for the fall? Somewhat. I have a few decorations that I have to dig out. I love decorating for seasons and holidays. My biggest change is my candles/scentsy

1. First off, where do you live and when does it get cold there? Ontario Canada

2. When do you pack away the summer clothes and bring out warmer stuff? Well it depends on the year. We usually have to bring out long sleeves and jackets in September, but we can't put away Summer clothes yet, because we do get the odd week in Sept that is warm enough for shorts. So I guess I'll put away Summer stuff in October.

3. Do you do it in increments like for the limbo time when you need both types bc the weather fluctuates so much (at least here it does)? Or all at once? usually I take out the Fall/Winter clothes out first and then a while later I'll put away the Summer things.

4. Do you switch your whole house hold at one time? Pretty much.

5. (An off topic question) Do you decorate your house for the fall? no, just for Christmas.

1. First off, where do you live and when does it get cold there? Minnesota, it varies. This year it started getting cold 2-3 weeks ago.

2. When do you pack away the summer clothes and bring out warmer stuff? When it starts getting cold out.

3. Do you do it in increments like for the limbo time when you need both types bc the weather fluctuates so much (at least here it does)? Or all at once? We have been doing it in increments, because some days are warm/hot and some are bbbbrrrrr cold. We started doing it the other day.

4. Do you switch your whole house hold at one time? We only do the kids clothes. We have enough closet space and dresser space that we can leave our summer and winter clothes out year round. Plus we don't have that many clothes.

5. (An off topic question) Do you decorate your house for the fall? Nope, some day I would like to. Especially when I do daycare.
