Hi Ladies,

I am sure most of you have been to Disneyworld. Here in London we are getting this disneyworld advert all the time about the special offers for Disneyworld Florida and everyone in family is keen on going there somewhere between mid April - May. I wanted to have feedback, is that a good time to visit Florida (weather wise)? And how good is this offer? Walt Disney World - 3 Magical 2012 Offers! - Official Site

Thanks.

Venus

I have never been but I know that one of our moms is there right now. I hope you get the answers you're looking for! I know we have a few moms in FL in our group

That looks like it is a good deal, we always try to go when they have free dinning. We usually go in May and the weather was hot but not unbearable. We went in August this year, it was sooo humid you felt like you were going to melt as soon as you walked out the door. It was miserable. I would go toward the end of April beginning of May next time. My other suggestion would be to make sure you book your dinning reservations as soon as you book your trip or 180 days in advance, so you get all th best places to eat. Our favorite is Le Cellier in Epcot. It is a Canadian steak house, it is soo good. Book for a late lunch so you only have to use one sit down credit, instead of 2 at dinner.

In my opinion, that is the perfect time to go to FL. It will be warm enough to go swimming but not super duper hot. It will be humid no matter when you go. I would just to be careful and not pick a week when schools are on break here if you can help it. That would make it even busier than usual.

Anytime in the Spring is a great time to go. We've been to Florida a few times and we've always enjoyed ourselves...going with adults only and going with children.
The first time we went was end of Jan and that was a bit cold. I don't think I would do that again. You had to wear a sweater most of the time. We've gone in March (the week before March break) and it was still a bit chilly in the mornings and evenings, but daytimes were hot enough to wear shorts. Last time we went was 1st week of August. It was hot and humid and rained a lot. But no matter what we've had tons of fun. The rain never lasts long. I think April/May would be a great time weather wise and not too busy.

I live in FL too and spring is a good times. Do check out the Spring break schedules for the neighboring counties. Also, I went before on Memorial Day weekend and there were hardly any lines. Another piece of advice, if you want a couple free 1 day tickets, you can tour a timeshare resort for 90min and get free tickets or like $100

That's a good time to go weather wise. Summer DW trips were always miserably hot for me growing up. I haven't been in 13 yrs but went probably 30 times in my life. My fav was always the Magic Kingdom. GL!

I've never been I'd spring, but I hear its a great time weather wise. I actually just got back a week ago- we always go in September when my kids have a fall break. The only thing about Apr/May is depending on the week you get a lot of spring break trips so I'm not sure about crowd levels.

There are a couple of websites filled with Disney World info and people who are crazy fans where I've alwayd gotten a ton of helpful info/insight. Let me know if you're interested and I can pm them to you.
