What kind should I get?

I'm a big fan of Stride Rite. They have both Pre-walkers (meant for babies who are crawling or have been walking less than 6 months) and Walkers.
I don't know what your budget is, but they are great quality, and get really high ratings as far as being safe for their feet (developing arches, etc etc).
Brendan has a pair of the Pre-walkers and while he only wears them when we go out places, he really likes them and they look cute too

We have a pair of used Stride Rites (hand me downs). They last a long time. I am thinking of getting Sophia a pair of new ones. We have a store close by and they measure the baby for the shoes. A couple of friends also have stride rites for their kids.

Ditto Stride Rite, they really are the best for their little feet. They are expensive, about $40, but you can get deals on them. Zulilly actually has them today.

I am wanting to get Rosie a pair of Stride Rite as well.
But I did end up getting her a pair of soft bendable sole shoes at Target and Toys R Us. As well as a pair of Riley Roo (these were a gift)

Adeline has a pair of stride rite.. Love them! Bought them at the outlet so I got them for half price!

My parents only bought me Stride Rite when I was a kid...I had really narrow shoes and those were the only kind that fit! I try to find them on sale for Claire...diapers.com sometimes has some great deals on shoes.

That shoe is adorable. I didn't see anything like the Ernie shoe- but I went to the outlet store. Great find!

We also love stride rite, that is all I ever put on dd. I was so sad when I couldn't find sandals by stride rite in the bigger sizes.
