Juliana squirms so much at night that every time she wakes me up (which is way too many times), she has thrown her blanket off of her. I dress her pretty lightly because it's been fairly warm when we go to bed, but it does get a little cold at night. I wonder if she's waking up because she's cold. So the logical thing would be to dress her more warmly and forget about blankets, but it's warm when she goes to bed at 8:30 to the point where she even sweats a little bit from being close to me while we snuggle to sleep. How does everyone else handle this? Just try to keep the temperature stable at night?

I don't know about this either... Arie always sweats and throws the blanket off of her even when I'm chilly, I"m thinking maybe the diaper is keeping her warm? Or she just hates blankets lol

Hard to say - Maggie is in her own crib in her own room. If she were in our bed or room with us, I think it would be totally different.

She very well may be waking up because she's cold. I would at least try layering thin layers or adding socks to see if that helps her stay warm. Try one at a time, just like everything else...Thing is that the temps cool down quickly at night. So she may feel a bit warm when she goes down at first, but it shouldn't take long for those extra layers to kick in and hopefully make a difference for you.

At least since she's sleeping with you, it's easy to cover her back up or strip her down if she's too warm.

Ditto this! London is also in her own bed. Normally I just dress her in a thin layer, light Pjs. There have been occasions were she has woken up due to being cold, but hubby dressed her in a onesie only so I changed her into PJs. I know I wake up when Im cold or too hot, so it sounds like Juilana is also.

Aidyen sleeps with us and I dress him in a onesie and pants. He hates blankets and will actually wake up if he feels the blanket on him. I just keep the house temperature comfortable

Kaiden always seems warm bc he sweats a lot but I have kept him in heavy fleece footie pj's even when it's warm. I do this bc he never has a blanket over him and we keep it pretty cool at night. He sleeps great this way.
My thought is babies are prolly more comfortable being slightly warmer rather than colder. As long as he isn't warm or sweaty in the morning then I figure it was just right.
