I have not offered Juliana any junk food. I'm not giving her juice for a while. However, she is not a fan of veggies and I don't force her. Sometimes she goes a couple of days without a single veggie. Occasionally I make her a smoothie and put cucumbers in it to make sure she's getting something, but cucumbers aren't the most nutritious veggie.

Let's just say Maggie is very well balanced. I don't think I've refused her anything, but I'm also lucky that she enjoys her veggies and her proteins, and the lion's share of what she eats is healthy.
But, I'll admit she's had cake (for more than just her birthday even), chocolate, ice cream and chips. Basically, if we eat it, so does she. My mom is awful for "treating" her too. It's a battle I choose not to fight because well, life is too short, and the truth is, Maggie has a good metabolism, and she's eating great 95% of the time.

Even if we wanted to give Aaron a lot of junk food he can't have most of it (pretty much everything contains dairy and/or soy and he's allergic to both). I did make him a dairy free/soy free carrot cake with dairy free/soy free frosting for his smash cake on his birthday and we just discovered coconut ice cream and he's had that a couple of times.
He does get a splash of apple juice in his water sometimes when we're having issues getting him to drink enough. I don't think he really likes plain water, so if it gets some water into him I'm all for it.
Fortunately he's a fantastic eater, and eats anything I put in front of him so I'm not worried about him not getting enough fruits and veggies.

DH is infamous for giving Leah chips. If she sees him eating them...she screams and cries until he gives in. He also lets her have ice cream when he haves it at night. I'm guilty of giving her juice. At first I used it for her constipation, but now I use it every day bc she wants it

She has had a few french fries here and there but luckily she hasn't realized how delicious they are yet lol. I HAVE been guilty of giving her pasta every night in a week because she LOVES pasta! She also has her fair share of her little organic cheese crackers.
She hasn't had any sweets at all yet. There's no reason right now, she doesn't know what she's missing anyway. Hubby and I are thinking about maybe giving her some cake on her 2nd birthday but haven't decided yet.

London has had and tried several things. My inlaws are mostly to blame though... but I do give her occasional ice cream and a cookie here and there. London is a great eater and I even wonder if she knows the difference. The chick can put away some food, I wonder if she is actually tasting it! ha ha ha

Ty has had no juice, no sweets, no junk food period. No sence in giving to him yet, but mostly he is really slow on eating solids still. He likes pasta, cheerios and puffs, along with his pureed baby foods

Caleb gets a sippy of pear juice everyday. He has sluggish bowel syndrome and the juice helps. Without the juice he needs Miralax everyday..with the juice just twice a week. He has also had chicken nuggets and one morning we were out of milk so DH gave him one of my ready made protein shakes...but that only had 4g of sugar. LOL

Hmmmm, we haven't really given her much sweets. She did have regular ol cake for her birthday, and dh has given her ice cream. I'm not too worried..she loves veggies, fruits, and mostly healthy foods..I'm not gonna freak out about sweets.

Lisa - I'm in the same boat as you. Syd has allergies to both eggs and peanuts so any sweets/junk food usually has one or both in them (think cakes, cookies, etc). For her birthday she had cupcakes with applesauce substituted for the eggs. I don't even let her eat out at the mall or places like that b/c I don't know what has come in contact with any of the food.
For treats that we do give her -- she loves popsicles (we have banana ones that are processed in a nut free facility) and I have given her vanilla ice cream (once again only if the label says it is processed in a nut free facility). I feel very limited in what I can feed her. I struggle with the allergies ...I think it's going to be hard when she get's older and can't eat birthday cake at parties and things like that. Not looking forward to it

Emmett has had a few bites of sweets here and then (other than the cupcake he destroyed on his bday). My guilty foods are pasta...we went to Olive Garden the other night and he housed a big bowl of penne alfredo. I also do hot dogs (turkey dogs) more than I should. And pizza. But maybe "guilty" is the wrong word...I guess I don't feel too bad about those foods if I look at them in context of what he eats the whole day, ya know?

I've given her banana pudding- you know Southern style, with the bananas, vanilla wafers, vanilla pudding and whipped topping... ice cream, popsicle (her sister was eating one and she noticed), her birthday cake, and the occasional apple or grape juice. I only let her have the sweets at night if she ate a good healthy supper. As far as pasta, I try to make only whole grain but sometimes it's not, and sometimes her grandmother makes Japanese food which has noodles but is chock full of vegetables and tofu.
I'm not too worried. Her sister still has candy in her room from Valentine's Day & Easter and would still have Halloween 2010 candy had I not finally decided to throw it away. This would never had happened when I was a kid! Our candy lasted 2 weeks tops!

Well as a family we eats well 90% of the time and junk 10% of the time. And Luca eats what we eat so if we're indulging then he does too. He has tried everything really.

Aidyen would eat Mac n cheese everyday if I let him or any kind of pasta with sauce. He loves those mini cupcakes and let him have one when we have them which isn't very often
