My poor Miranda has caught the bug that Isabelle had earlier this week. Poor thing is wheezing like crazy it scares me. I took her in to be seen because I could tell the symptoms were similar to Isabelle's and I was right, she does have bronchitis and a really bad throat infection. She even started drooling cause she won't swallow. She's so miserable and is having a hard time breathing from all the stuff sitting on her lungs.
Why do the dr.s give antibiotics that have to be taken with food?? Don't they know that eating is the last thing on the child's mind right now. She barely took the medication as it is because she can't swallow.
Just like the stuff my dr. gave Isabelle...it was bitter! As if a 4 year old is going to drink bitter stuff. She spit that out all over me twice so I had to mix it with chocolate milk.
I guess this is the season for bugs to go around.

Poor thing, I hope she feels better real soon! I know what you mean about antibiotics, we are going on 20 days of taking antibiotics because the first batch didn't work for my LO. He never wants to swallow it and a bunch always drips out or splatters when I use the eyedropper thing.

Poor Baby, that sounds AWFUL! I totally agree about the bitter medicine. Hadley actually liked hers, LOL. But the boys did not, and it was such a fight to get them to take it. And Zander's was twice a day for 10 days....oh the dread. I hope she gets better QUICKLY!

Poor baby! I hope your household feels better, it stinks that we're all dealing with the icky sickies!

My older two don't have flavored medicine but I bribed them to take it haha. If you take it, you get a goodie. It worked, bitter faces but they didn't spit it out.

With Bishop, I just get him down and squirt that sucker in. He's basically forced to swallow it. I hate to do it that way, but yeah, he spits it right back out also.

Hope Miranda gets to feeling better soon Poor baby.

We're sick too. Not Heidi yet really but me and DS especially. He had a fever last night that has gone down now. But I know it's bc of the cold front that's coming through North FL right now. It's playing up our allergy/sinus stuff.

Is Isabelle feeling better now?

The girls are feeling better. The wheezing has stopped and they are able to finally cough the flegm up. But like I knew it....now it's been passed on to me. Mom's always end up with it.
Of course it's so much harder being sick yourself and taking care of whiny babies/children. And this weekend was sooooo cold. It feels like winter is just around the corner.
Hope everyone else is feeling better!!
