Ok, y'all are super smart ladies. I need to get a gift for my preceptor (the nurse teaching me in an internship type style). She is not a cook and doesn't enjoy candy stuff (she's really on a diet and doesn't break it often). She has a few super cute cups that she uses at work for water, but she doesn't drink coffee or tea either. She has a 5 year old daughter and she is a very "girlie-girl". I'm not sure what kind of makeup or anything she uses though. So, ideas? Thoughts? I'm racking my brain and coming up with nothing.

I'm not great with gifts so my only thought is candles. I hope someone can give you more ideas.

Pretty socks? I love socks!

Um...jewelry maybe, or something from Sephora?

how about a magazine subscription? I love magazine subscriptions! I subscribe to about 6 different ones (women's health is a good one if she's into healthy eating, etc) and love getting them every month (2 were gifts).

I like the candle idea. Get her a really nice candle holder from Yankee candle with a Jar candle or smaller ones for the holder. You can get a few different scents.
