The weather is GORGEOUS finally, so we are spending more and more time outside. There is a park in our community where we can go to swing, play in the sand, slide, etc., so I don't want to spend money on a swing-set for our yard. She has a soccer ball and a ride-on toy here at the house, but I'm wondering what else you do with your kids outside? What toys do you like? Any ideas? She doesn't seem bored, so it is probably just me, but I'm curious anyway

Ross has a fisher price play structure, its got a little slide and some stairs in the backyard, and he has his balls, he also has one of those little battery operated vehicles, his looks like a 4 wheeler/quad and he loves driving it up and down the sidewalks, he got it for his birthday, i didnt think he would be able to do it, but he can drive it on his own pretty well

We have a bunch of older toys for the older boys. He gets toted around in the escalade power wheels. Mainly he hangs out in the grass and chases after a ball or plays with some cars.

Rosie has her cozy coupe that she got for her birthday. If she isn't playing with that then she likes to find rocks and play in the dirt. She also likes to play with Diva and try to take the ball from her.

Tommy likes to play with his trucks and bouncy ball. He is also a fan of the dirt and eating the grass....I just follow him and let him play.

Yes, Claire ate dirt yesterday, too. Gross!

I have been looking at one of the Fisher Price play house things, too! It would be great in the yard, but we could also bring it in for her playroom in the coldest winter months.

Looks like I'm headed to Wal-Mart to check out the playhouses, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and kites! (DH vetoed the battery-operated car.)

As gorgeous as it is outside this is wasp season here and they are everywhere....and we are all terrified of flying objects. So we don't spend as much time outdoors as we should. Plus I'm working full time. But I"m sure that Miranda goes outside with the babysitter regularly. She does love any ride on toys and the swing. Chalk is always a great hit.
