Would you take your LO to Disney or Sea World at this age (assuming it wasn't for older kids)? I'll be in FL next week and the middle of November. My mom wants to take Juliana to Sea World. Of course, I don't want to miss her first time at a theme park so if she goes, I'll have to take off work and go to. I'm just not sure if Juliana's ready for a theme park. I'm sure there will be some parts she'd appreciate, like the hands on pool, but the show with Shamu? I think she might get more out of a petting zoo or something. My parents live in Orlando so we'll have several opportunities to go back. In fact we'll be there again in May of next year. My mom's answer to that is we'll do Sea World this year and Disney next year. What do you all think?

I would totally do it.
Maggie surprises me. A lot. Especially when it comes to stuff like excursions. I think Sea world is probably the better option. Particularly if she's got no clue who Mickey Mouse is yet. If she knew Mickey Mouse, then I wouldn't have a problem doing Disney either. The cost aside, you don't have to plan on spending the whole day at either place right? Plan to spend the morning or her most alert time, and plan your visit around what you are pretty sure she could appreciate.
I know not too long ago Maggie saw a commercial for a Disney cruise and she recognized Mickey. If we weren't planning this big move right now, I'd be trying to figure out how to make that cruise happen. It's definitely on deck within the next 1.5 yrs.

I would do it, I think Juliana would love it!! She might be done sooner than an older kid would be though.

I would do it too. I took Caden and London to Sea World in San Antonio this past weekend and Londy loved it!

Not to hijack the thread, but we did a Disney Cruise earlier this year and it was awesome! Wyatt was only 6 months, but DD was 4 1/2 and had the time of her life! Totally recommend it!

We took Jr to Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, and he loved it. They have a wading pool with sprinklers and stuff, and he had a blast. He also loved seeing all of the characters. They have the loony toon people walking around and he was so excited.
