Thanks to Google. I am still stressing over Kenzie's leg. I know the doctor can only do so much especially from just doing x rays but will the Physical therapist also come up with a diagnosis? I was reading this page Cerebral Palsy: Hope Through Research: National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). about Cerebal Palsy and it realy has me wondering. McKenzie favors using one leg more. She still puts the right leg under and scoots to her destination. Xrays can only see if its something with bone structure but to me its more of a msucle problem. I wish I had a magic wand to help my baby but I don't. I am so nervous about physical therapy. What if it doesn't work? What if there is more wrong than. Just having an abnormal gait?

Oh Joy *hugs* I have to tell you this, but, step away from Google! It is very bad! I however know the feeling of wondering if its something more. Dane favored his other leg, he didn't like to put weight on his bowed leg at all. He would run funny. He's okay now his legs are good. But I totally get the frustration of wanting to help your baby but not being able to. Give it time, see where it goes. If there isn't improvement, push for more answers from your Dr.

Joy, I hope you get an answer soon. I know it's hard to feel helpless as the mom and you want to make everything better.

You are right Marisa I need to step away from Google. Its hard though because her doctor really does go into detail about things with me. Its like in and out and that annoys me. Kenzie has a bowed leg to and like Dane she does not want to use that one. Thank you

I'm sorry Joy, this has to be tough on you. I agree google can make the worrying worse, I always do that to myself. I would wait to see what the physical therapist says and go from there. Hugs.

I'm sorry Joy. I would trust the drs and any specialist that she is seeing. Pleas step away from the google because it will make it worse even more so before you see the physical therapist. *hugs*
