We are done having children. DH finally got the all clear last week (after 7 months). I was surprised that I actually felt a little sad. There is no way I want another baby, but now that we're officially done, it just feels weird. On the bright side, it's exciting to move onto the next phase of our family!

Totally understand that feeling! DH will be getting a vasectomy after this baby is born. I think it's always hard to say goodbye to our child bearing years even when you know your family is complete.

I'm not there yet but I can totally understand your feelings. Especially the part about being excited to move on to the new stage. I kind of wish I was where you are right now with my family. I'm not sure if I can handle the newborn stage again.

I know it's such a bittersweet time. We aren't doing anything permanent ever because neither of us can handle it actually being OVER kwim? I'm happy for you to start the next chapter of your life though
