Our babies are nearing the 18 month mark. What goals do you have for your little one before they are 2?

none whatsoever other than for her to simply be happy, healthy and thriving. Goals for other people so rarely work out the way you want them too. She is her own little person, and if I've learned nothing else in this last 16 months, she'll do whatever she needs to do in her own sweet time, in her own sweet way.

I ideally would like her potty trained by the time she's 2 (18 months would be sweet!). Other than that, nothing in particular.

I would love if she was potty-trained around 2, and I would love if she was speaking better...but haha, probably at that point I would wish she didn't speak so much!

No goals. Ty is only 14 months and just seems baby to me. Two still seems very far away. He is my last and I am loving every second of his babyhood. I am in no hurry for him to grow up.

Hopefully he will be walking. He's pulling up to a stand now and seems to have good balance so I'd love for him to be on track with his gross motor skill by 2. He's a pretty happy guy so I just would love for him to stay that way

I would like for her to know enough sign language that between her signs and verbal skills, she can communicate her needs to me with minimal frustration.

I don't really have any for him, yeah it would be nice if he's potty trained and speaking better but I'm not going to push it too much. I'm just enjoying each stage he goes through.

Can't even think about that yet. I just want him to start walking and talking soon and we'll go from there.

Let's see my main goal is for her to start talking more just so we can communicate better. It is so hard sometimes to know what she wants. London gets so frustrated sometimes. I feel like I need to do a better job of actually TALKING to her then just assuming what she needs. For example when she wants "the ball" I need to help her verbalize it then just giving it to her because she was screaming for it. I did that with Caden really early and he spoke really well at 2.

This isn't really a "goal" but I'd love if if she would be done with teething as well!! Actually, I would love if she would be done way sooner than that, if possible.

I really need to work more with Hunter on his words. I feel the same as Shantel. My DD was way ahead at this point with communication, and I'd like to see Hunter catch up.
