I know this is a ways off and I know some moms like enjoying the moment and not looking ahead...but I'm a look-aheader! For BTDT moms, do you remember what your kid/kids were doing by age 2?

DS 1 - Had very good gross and fine motor skills, but was not talking much, was not potty trained until he was 3.5

DD1 - I don't ever remember her babbling, she was talking in sentences and potty trained shortly after she turned 2. She also had great gross and fine motor skills.

DD2 - Was working on potty training, she was talking but not as clearly as dd1 at that age. Needed to work on her gross and fine motor skill a little more.

As you can tell they were all very different

Caden was a talker and spoke in full sentencesat 2. His comprehension was really good and he could follow instructions very well at 16 mo he didn't potty train though until he was close to 3. He was a late walker close to 16 mo

Its so weird to me to think of our LO's talking in full sentences!! But then it was strange for me to imagine her sitting up or walking or anything else.

Tyrael and Bella were BIG TIME talkers at two! They could say anything you can imagine, could say their ABCs, and were pretty smart little buggers. I don't see Eli being like that at that age at all, but that's okay. :-) He gets into everything a lot more than my girls ever did. The kid keeps me on my toes all day long. He'll probably be turning cartwheels but not talking in sentences yet. LOL!

Keira and Kaila were very verbal and could follow instructions well. Kaila has been more verbal and advanced linguistically. She has been able to identify all the letters in the alphabet, her colors, and even what certian words start with since she turned 2.

I don't think Kellen is going to hit the verbal milestones. He really doesn't say anything I understand, nor does he care to try. I get a random, Mommy, Dadda, or cocka and that's about it. He does appear to be more advanced in gross and fine motor skills than the girls. He's already linking leggos together and stacking nesting blocks appropriately. He also is very capable of getting up and down off of chairs and sofas; something I don't think the girls mastered until a little later.

So, basically, the girls were very verbal by 2 but I have a feeling Kellen is still going to stick to the physical accomplishments. They're all so different!

Noah was toilet trained at 2, speaking in sentences, knew his shapes and colours and things like that. He was not sleeping through the night and he was really really naughty!!
