What are you all up to this weekend? Have you visited any pumpkin patches yet? Share some pics if you have or of any other fall activity you've done.

I hated planning to move, it was so stressful. Are you going to visit NC before you move?

We would love to but we can't. It's all going to have to be deep research on everything. We have several towns figured out to where we'd like to go, we're sticking around Asheville, NC.

I actually don't mind the planning. It's keeping my mind off of everything else going on around here. I'll hate the packing and then the actual 14 hour driving the most haha.

No real plans here except phone shopping with my parents, and dinner with the whole family tomorrow night.

Sat- DD1 wants to take her own money to the flea market and buy DH a bday present. We will meet my mom there and then go to walmart and possibly a craft store.

I hated packing it was the worse!!! Is Jason going to go ahead of time to look for work or are you going to do it over the internet?

We aren't doing much this weekend, i just came down with some nasty cold. I feel awful, so we will probably just hang out around here.

We are doing it all online and applying the closer we get. We can't make two different trips, I couldn't handle the move down by myself.

I guess Jason wants to go down one weekend and check out the area we're looking into. Not sure how we'll swing it but he wants to get a feel for it and see it before we move.

Tom lived up here for 3 months before I moved up. It was super tough but it worked out. We were lucky enough that he had a friend that let him stay with him for free so we didn't have to have another fee. He was going to rent a room until we found a place. I basically made the move here alone. I had family help me load the uhaul drove it half way to him and he hired someone to help him unload it here along with his friend. You would be surprised what you can handle when it comes down to it, I didn't think I could do it either...lol.

The only thing is we have absolutely nobody in NC. This is a total blind move. We are going down first and then my mom and step-dad will follow when their house sells. I'm sure if it came down to it, I could but it would be very hard.
