I'm just curious - what usually happens before PR's combine? Not enough posts or no one willing to host one of them? I checked and the most recent playrooms to combine and Jan./Feb. '09, which is a good year and a half older than us. Still, sometimes I wonder if our PR stays slow if we would want to consider combining with June or August '10 so we can interact with new people who we know aren't trolls. Maybe not right away, but something to think about in the near future. What do you all think?

I didn't realize PR merged! I wouldn't mind combining, I lurk on other boards, especially June/May...I guess I like to know what's "coming up"!

You know mariah I wonder this myself. I wouldn't have a problem combining and it sounds like a great idea. To my knowledge its really up to the hosts and post counts. On the host board hosts have been talking about combining because there is one host on each board and both boards are slow. If another board has two hosts and would combine with us I believe 2 would have to step down because only really fast boards can have 3 hosts

When I say post count I mean. How many people are posting on threads, which terms it a slow board.

They ask you before you combine rooms even if you post count is really low. I don't think they force it on anyone. Usually they ask when the post count falls really low and no one is hosting one or both of the boards for a while.

Well I wouldn't want either of our wonderful hosts to step down. It doesn't look like they have a low post count in either June or August. I'm with Seema, though; if we do combine I'd rather combine with June because it will give us a look ahead, but it will probably be a while and by that time it won't really matter.

Yeah once they turn 2 and 3 it really doesn't matter they are pretty much on the same playing field..ya know......
