We're back from our vacation! We had the best time
Kenna was a bit stressful at times (mostly at the end of the day at dinner or while standing in lines which we only had to stand in 2 that were over 20 minutes) but overall she wasn't bad and we'd do it again in a heartbeat! We go to see Zach's sister and brother who live in Florida (one in West Palm ---- gah! beautiful! want to move there next
) and the other in Orlando. It was awesome to actually get to see them at their house vs seeing them at the inlaws for the past 13 years. And then of course Disney was everything and more that I thought it would be. I totally bawled my eyes out when I entered all the parks. Cried like a baby when my kids and I all went on the classic rides (dumbo!!!) the only thing I wished differently is that Sierra wasn't TERRIFIED of the princesses and characters
We didn't greet ANY, she wouldn't get her hair/makeup done at the bippity boppity boutique, no character dining
Maybe next time we go she'll be ok with it. Kenna was fine with them, in fact she loved them
Riley was the PERFECT age! He could ride everything, loved it all (except Tower of Terror
which was my fav!) and just had a blast. It seriously was awesome. Totally awesome. And our very first family vacation! We already planning next years. We originally were going to do a Disney cruise but I think we might head out to Cali or Hawaii (or even go back down and vacation at Zach's sister's house in West Palm because their house is like a resort
) but we are absolutely going to vacation every year now
I took some pictures but not a lot. I didn't want to bother with my camera but I'll post some on fb when I get a chance
OH! I almost forgot! I think everyone knows but we had our very own family session with THE AMAZING Brooke from Brooke Logue Photography. Seriously she is adorable and awesome. She has a stylist that she works with that was equally amazing. They pulled out all the shots for me
I did want some yummy backlit photos but the weather wouldn't cooperate for us...but I am absolutely IN LOVE with what we got! If you haven't seen them, here are a few sneaks on her fb. I'm waiting for the blog post so you can see them bigger. I LOVE. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!!!!!!!!!! It was SO fun to be in front of the camera too :yay: I'm spoiled now and will want to travel to her every year
