Unfortunately, I'm REALLY bad about eating with her...usually I feed her first and then I'll eat. And this is probably a bad habit but half the time I am just following her around and stuffing her mouth because I get more food in her that way then if she is sitting down eating from her high chair.

She loves cheesy scrambled eggs for breakfast but I try not to give them to her all the time because of the cholesterol. She LOVES pasta in tomato sauce, her cheese crackers, and fruit.

She didn't eat very much until I got rid of her bottles cold turkey almost a week ago. Now she eats a ton (yay!) but she has refused milk out of a sippy... gotta work on that!

Paint a picture of a typical meal in your house - start to finish.

what are the kids fav foods?-

Do they usually eat?

how long do meals usually last?

do you have to poke and prod?

Do you all sit down together and eat?

etc?

On weekdays, Emily just gets something small to hold her over until daycare (usually a veggie pouch).

On weekends, I usually cook pancakes or DH cooks eggs and we all sit down together and eat.
Lunch on weekends is usually out somewhere. A deli most of the time. She gets a turkey sandwich and some fruit.
Dinner is usually something grilled out, and we all sit down together. It takes about 30 minutes (or until she starts whining to get down or starts throwing food to the dog).

Dinner during the week is usually something quick and easy. Grilled cheese and soup, spaghetti, or something in the crock pot. She eats whatever we eat unless its pizza or McDonalds. Then I will usually cook her up some veggies and a grilled cheese or quesadilla.

Well, on weekdays since its just me and her for breakfast and lunch, I feed her fruit and cereal while I have my coffee. I really don't eat breakfast but I sit and talk to her while she is eating. For lunch she will usually have a sandwhich or a hotdog and fruit for a snack. Dinner time is when I try my darnest to get the whole family to sit together and eat. We usually eat dinner when my husband gets home at 6. On weekends she will eats eggs or pancakes with her daddy.

Maddy is sort of a picky eater though and it takes her awhile to eat. She will eat her veggies though. Thats the first thing she eats, and its the only thing she will gobble up fast. lol.

Breakfast around here is usually just cereal and you eat when you get up.

Lunch we all eat together and that is either leftovers or pbj and something else.

Dinner we all eat together and it varies every night usually veggies, potatoes, meat. My kids love tacos, pizza, stroganauf, chicken chili, hamburgers. Everyone is expected to eat whatever it is that is served with very few exceptions. This has helped tremendously especially when we go eat at other peoples houses.

During the week I cook dinner and have it on the table around 6:30-7. We normally all eat together. On the weekends I usually cook breakfast for everyone and we eat together. Lunch is another story though. The kids eat lunch around noon and Im not usually hungry then.

We do are best to eat together as a family. I have to poke and prod Caden to eat sometimes, but not London she will make a happy plate everytime!!! lol

Maggie is still a great eater. She'll eat almost anything, and eats the same thing we eat with the exception of salad or nuts until she has enough back teeth to break them down. Takes forever for her to eat though.

She loves pasta, and potatoes. You can't have french fries on the table in front of her and expect her to eat anything else in front of her.
