I forgot to mention this but Bishop is going to be evaluated by his Dr on the 1st of November.

I took him to the walk-in clinic last week because of him still being sick even after being on the first round of abx for his sinus infection and double ear infection. That dr told me even if he was 100% better after his round of medicine to still take him to be seen by his dr because she didnt like the look of his ear.

Well before I could even make the appointment his Dr office called and set up one. I guess this is his 4th double ear infection since April. I didn't know that (well I did, but I didn't really pay attention to the time span) and they want to see him.

So we go on the first and we'll see where it leads :/ I had horrible ear infections as a kid and had tubes put in. I haven't had one since.

I'm not sure but I can't think it's a good thing when the Dr office calls you to schedule an appointment based on this fact.

My mom said if he does it would be a good thing. I guess mine were horrible as a child, constant ear infections. I remember getting my tubes though, I was 3 I think.

well if the tubes are going to help then it's a positive thing, right? you don't want to be dealing with constant ear infections. poor Bish, though!

Poor little guy. I'm guessing they will want to do tubes. I think the criteria is something like 6 ear infections in a year or 4 in a 6-9 month period, especially since he had so many during the summer. It is probably good to get it taken care of before the winter cold season starts. Alison got tubes last week. It was a very simple procedure. The hardest part is just waking up from the anesthesia.

Poor Bishop! Hopefully the doctors will be able to do something to help him, I always had horrible ear infections as a young child too

I hope they're able to help so y'all don't have to go through this anymore! Sounds like the tubes might be a good route to take.
