When someone asks you how old your toddler is do you just say the year or do you still go by months?

I'm surprised by this, but I'm still doing months. I figure by the time she's 18 months, I'll have stopped. Maybe it's some kind of subliminal correlation to when they finally get out of clothing sized by their actual age! LOL

I usually say 15 months, but if I think someone is going to criticize Leah for being small for her age, then I just say a year. Then they usually look at me like "oh"

I still go by months but I can never work out whether he's 15 or 16 months. Bad mother! I go by months until they're two because there's such a huge difference between a 12 month old and a 20 month old but they're both 1.

I still say 15 months usually. I'll probably still say months to most people and I figure I'll probably do it until 2. I should probably just start saying 1 for a while though since he's behind on most stuff. Sometimes I think he's closer to 12 months developmentally.
