How was it?

The weekend was kind of lame. Saturday,we just hung around the house and did laundry. Sunday we got a ton of snow and went outside to build an igloo. But that is about it. My parents were supposed to come for a visit but then ended up having to cancel because they got all the snow first. Nothing exciting here.

Actually, pretty fun.

We never do anything at all in the evenings, but we went to a Murder Mystery party on Sat. night, and they even had childcare for Nolan, which was awesome. Super fun! I dressed up as an old lady, and put on a southern accent. I didn't end up being the murderer. We had to leave a little bit early because it was too late for Nolan, but it was nice to spend some time with other adults as a couple.

Sunday was no-fun-day. Had to get ready for P/T conferences at school. I made a TON of yummy food, though!

Saturday, we went to Pumpkins at the Park which was put on by the Wildlife Park here and the kids had a blast...well, Levi did at least. Not sure how much fun Lennon had just riding around in the stroller, but he wasn't complaining. Sunday, both kids slept in which meant DH and I got to sleep in too. Yesssss! Other than that, it was lazy and pretty boring.

We had a very nice/busy weekend here. Saturday we ran errands and spent some time playing at this really cool park. My inlaws came in that evening and we all went out for dinner. On Sunday I ran my first half marathon. It was a lot of fun and I finished right where I wanted to. Elizabeth did the kids fun run. After we went out to lunch with the inlaws and some friends then we came home and relaxed.

It was okay. Ladybug caught a bad cold and was running a fever . She has not been sleeping well either but how could she when she is feeling so bad. Today seems better for her. We probably will not go Trick or treating. That's about I for our weekend. We went to the store with my sister to get shoes and clothes for my niece and I brought some work shoes that were on sale.

Very lazy and pretty relaxing, just what I needed! It snowed and was crappy out so we just holed up, cooked good food, did laundry, etc. Nothing much.

We spent Sat. with my parents and went out for Mexican. It was super yummy! Sunday was trick-or-treat. Kendra LOVED it...she would hold up her pumpkin bucket and give a huge smile. It was so cute! Weekends are usually spent with my family just to break up the boringness of being home all the time. Helps takes the kids minds off daddy being gone.

It was good
Saturday I got my car back (after the water pump and timing belt broke) and cleaned my apt.
Sunday I ran errands, did laundry, washed and cleaned my car and hung out with my mom. It was productive yet relaxing and being my first weekend after being back at work, it was perfect It was suuper hard to leave Holden this morning, tho.
