We will be doing one this year no matter what, so there is no need to have any votes or such. If you chose to participate in the other exchange and want to send a card to that person as well, thats totally fine!
Here was my idea. Instead of sending one card to one person and only getting one card back, what if we created a little pool of sorts? All those who sign up for the exchange would receive a PM of everyone's name and address who wanted to send/receive a card. You would then send a Christmas/Holiday card to everyone in that list and they would do the same as well.
I thought it would be neat to get a few cards instead of just one.
You can buy sets, make your own and such. I have been looking and you can find box sets online fairly cheap.
Here is Amazons link when I typed in holiday cards Amazon.com: holiday cards
Target: christmas cards at Target
Walmart: holiday greeting cards - Walmart.com (ignore the first 3 i think)
Thoughts?

Lori, your post in another thread is what got me thinking of doing it this way. That way you don't have to collect all the addresses and stuff yourself and everyone else can get several cards over just one, you know?

I'm okay with this, but I think I like the idea of choosing 1,3,5, 10 etc cards and just doling out appropriately is better. I can buy a box of cards, but stamps for 15 cards is going to cost as much as the box of cards.

Of course, that's why I asked for thoughts
Oh and I rarely ever send mail so I buy one book of stamps and it lasts me sadly probably like half a year haha

A- I want to send/get 1 card
B- I want to send 5 cards
C- I want send 10 cards
D- I want to send cards to everyone participating

ditto. Or just send as many as you can. Stamps are getting ridiculously expensive. I know $.44 isn't lot but it adds up.

We already do 80+ cards (I know, we have HUGE families) so I am not sure if I would be able to handle the expense of another 20 people. I guess it depends on how many of us sign up? I'd like to participate though!

I'm in I agree with the stamp issue since that can get expensive and Christmas is already an expensive time a year, but it's hard saying no to sending to everyone since I love giving and receiving cards!

I know Kristy- it's nuts! My mom was one of 6 kids, my dad is one of 3. DH's dad is one of 5, and his mom is one of 6... so yeah. We just ordered 96 Xmas cards from JCPenny today and it **should** be enough haha.
