How often do you have to wash your car seat cover? I seems like I am washing mine once a week these days, Tommy always seems to spill or spit milk all over it and it starts to smell. I might have to stop letting him have a cup in the car.

I don't allow Claire to have food or drink in the car, so I have only washed ours once.

If Brendan gets a sippie cup in the car it's just water. That way if he spills, I can just let it dry and not worry about stains.

Ellie only gets water in her cup in the car. The only mess she usually has is crumbs.

Yeah, I need to stop letting him have the milk in the car. My seats and his look awful, I am going to have my car detailed next week since it has some weird odor to it, I am guessing there is milk somewhere. Ewww...I am grossed out that I can't get rid of the smell. I've cleaned and vacuumed it 3x already.

We just got a new (to us) car and DH is already going nuts about keeping it clean, so I gotta be careful about even getting crumbs in there. Haha!

My dh is always ragging on me about my car...lol. But in my defense the kids are in my car 90 percent of the time and my dd just doesn't pick up after herself. She leaves everything in there, it is a fight to get her to bring anything in. So my car always looks like a bomb hit it.

DH calls my car a mobile purse. I'm trying to be better about cleaning it out though!

Haha that is something my dh would say. The one night we met his friend out for dinner, we took my car. He was complaining the whole way about how messy it was. Well of course his friend walks up to my back door to let Lily out and was like WHOA do you live in this car!? Dh was so red....LOL. I don't care, it is what it is. I have to lug two kids around, there are blankets, jackets, and toys, whatever.

Yeah, I'm the same way with my house. I'm beyond being embarrassed. Anyone who comes in the door should just expect to have to step over some toys because as soon as I put things away, Ellie drags them all back out.

DS1's car seat cover is washed about once a year, only when it gets really messy. It's never smelled, cause he only gets crackers or other dry food in the car. And he only gets snacks when we're going to the IL's which is a 3 hour drive. We don't give Josh snacks in the car, I'm not comfortable with him eating in the car yet. And drinks are only allowed when we're going to the IL's as well. So there isn't much opportunity for their seats to get dirty.

Rosie only gets water in the car so if she does spill its only water.
No snacks yet as a general rule. But she has had some a few times and its only been crumbs left over so easy to clean

I only wash it once in a while. Mostly it's covered in crumbs but I don't let her drink in the car.
