Do you do a lot of decorating for holidays? Not just around this time, but any holidays during the year? If you do decorate for the winter holidays, when do you start?

I don't really do any decorating for Thanksgiving, and this is the first year we've been in a house, not a condo/apartment, so I did a little for Halloween. When I was growing up, we always started decorating the day after (American) Thanksgiving, so that's what DH and I have done since we got married. I'm really excited to be able to decorate a house this year. I need to go into the garage and go through all my stuff to get ready for Friday!

we dont decorate because dh and I are a couple scrooges LOL

I hate clutter/knick knacks and i see most decorations as that, next year we will put up the tree, we do pumpkins at halloween and in the future we would use any decorations the kids get/make

We decorate a little, just some lights outside. Christmas is the only holiday I decorate for.

I plan to decorate for every holiday, not as much as i will do for Christmas though. I have been picking up things after the holiday is over for future decorating.

I do that too. We're going to be buying a new Christmas tree for our house probably after Christmas this year.

I love the after Christmas sales, you get sooo many good deals. You just have to get out there like the day after to get the good stuff.

I am a holiday decorator. I have a fall thingy on the door, and scarecrows by the porch, and sunflowers and burgundy mums in the house, gourds, etc. I go a little nuts at Christmas, each kid gets their own themed tree in their bedrooms

I love decorating. I do a fall/autumn theme then halloween back to autumn. Then a winter/christmas theme. Easter and then normal summer stuff.

Christmas is the biggest one we really decorate for. We have window clings for other holidays but that is about it.

I used to but with small kids around I don't anymore. I mean we have a tree and a few things here and there but that's about it. I don't mind the decorating part so much as I hate cleaning it up afterwards. Plus my cat would probably chew on everything. Actually DH puts up and decorates the tree every year and cleans it up. I've made it clear to him that if he's not happy with the way I do it he's welcome to do it himself. So we have an understanding that he is forevermore doing the tree with the kids.
I don't decorate for any other holidays.

We are not big decorators. We live in an apartment building, so that contributes to it, since we can't have anything outside.

For Halloween I have a couple little knick knacks and I always put a pumpkin somewhere. For Christmas I have a few ceramic things DF's grandmother gave us, but that's about it. We do a tree, too. A real one, every year. Gotta have the tree. No fancy ornaments though.
