How often do you give you LO's water to drink? I noticed in the other thread alot of you are giving your LO water, I hardly give Tommy water. I mostly give him milk, I'm wondering if I should be giving him more.

I usually alternate between water and milk. But I live in Phoenix. If I don't give her some water, she gets dehydrated.

I make sure Hallie gets her alottment of milk. If she gets her milk in I will give her some watered down juice. Very seldom do we do just water.

Now that it's colder, we have the heater running and it gets pretty dry in the house. I give Sophia a spill proof sippy cup for her crib every night. She can drink if she is thirsty. I have a bottle of water in my bed for myself that's why I came up w/ the idea. I have seen her (baby monitor/camera) wake up at night, take a sip of water and go back to sleep. Kind of nice that I don't have to get up.

Druing the day I offer milk first. I have a water sippy cup always there, too. And she will point if she wants water.

The only time I give Brynlie water is if its out of my cup and she just walks by and wants a drink. I dont give her water in a sippy. Most of her sippys are whole milk and maybe once a week watered down juice. At night she still nurses so nothing in sippy at night.

Claire has a sippy with water that she gets with meals. She has never had juice. She asks for her "dink" a couple of times a day, and then I give her the sippy with water.

Rosie gets her 3 sippy's of milk a day. Then the rest is water. Some days she will drink 5 sippy cups of water sometimes its only 3. Sometimes she will get half juice half water if she is constipated or its a special treat.

When its empty she brings it to us to fill it up for her. Some days she does drink less but its rare. She always has something in her cup.

I would do more milk but the ped said 21 oz was plenty since she eats such a variety of other foods.

I give water when our house is very dry. Other than that, it's milk or maybe a splash of juice in 99% of water.

I give Holden water all the time. I know he doesn't get a ton of water @ daycare so I make sure to always have it available to him when he's home.

Josh gets milk for all the meals. For morning snack he gets juice, and afternoon snack he gets water.
