Do you allow your toddler to have toys in your living room?

do you have a special "toy room"

what room does your toddler spend most of his playing time?

Um, yeah. Our "living room" is his play area. The couch divides the living room area from our office area. Then we have one of those multi-panel play yards in front of our DVD's and our TV stand and his play area is between there and the couch. We use our play yard as a gate to block it off by wedging it between the couch and this built in bar/cabinet thing. It's hard to explain, but this is the only real childproof area so he spends a lot of time in there. My parents have a tub of toys in their living room upstairs and we go up there a lot too and let him play and walk in the hallway. He has a blast up there.

Yes. Our toys are spread throughout the house. Some in her room and my office upstairs, some in the living room and some in the family room in the basement.

At the new house, the plan will be her room, the family room, but the lion's share will be in her new playroom in the basement.

Toys are also spread throughout the house. I do try to control though how much they drag in the living room. The bulk of thier toys are in thier rooms.

Most of Noah's toys are in the living room, but he also has some in his room. The older kids have some in their rooms and then our attic is their playroom where they keep most of their toys.

Grace keeps all of her little toys (Polly Pocket, Littlest Pet Shop, Barbie) in her room for the most part. Our basement is shaped like an L so the _ part of it is sectioned off as a toy area. Our main level of the house it pretty much toy free except for the kids book shelf and coloring books.
