Who's taken their LO in for a hair cut? How did it go? Juliana desperately needs one but I'm scared. I'm trying to decide between cutting her bangs myself while she's sleeping, and I'm horrible with stuff like that, and taking her in and hoping for the best. Neither sounds like a great option.

Maggie did really well. Nothing to be scared about at all...and I pushed it as long as I felt I could too.

She was busy chasing the scissors with her eyes. The trick is to go to a stylist who is used to doing kids. They'll be much better prepared to handle it. She sat on my lap for it, and it took a little longer than it will when she's older, but I'm so glad we did it. As soon as it was all even and neat looking, I stopped feeling like "that" mother who lets her kid have a mullet.

Aaron had his first cut at 11 months back in June and he did really well. I would rather take him in and have them do it right than try and (fail) to do it myself.

She's had 2 so far and kinda needs another one but I want to grow it out now...anyway, we went to a kids place and the hairstylest was great with her and she sat in my hubby's lap...she was crying for most of it but smiling at the end. The second haircut went better but hubby took her for this while I was at work. I say go for it!

I had Vincent's hair cut at the end of July and he did great. I had someone I know do it at her house and I just held him while she snipped a little here and there and there was no problem. He's a lot more active now than he was then, though, so I don't know how he'd do with another hair cut. I want to let his hair grow out for a bit and see if I like it long but he really does need to get his bangs trimmed because they're getting in his eyes. I really don't want to pay for just that but I would suck at doing it myself, so I've been putting it off.

I'm not cutting Luca's anytime soon. Even though people tell me all the time what a cute little girl I have.

I will not be cutting London's hair, but I do think J will do great if you take her to a stylist who has experience in cutting kids hair. I know when I took Caden for the first time. He was 3 and had as much hair as London. I was so scared and nervous, but I wasn't just getting him trimmed. I was cutting all his hair off. He did great though!! Also look at it like this if it does turn out badly it will grow back..

We have done 3. I love the girl tht does his hair. He was perfect one time and cried the other to times but it was easy and quick and no pain other than annoying a few other customers. I say go in to a pro for waving sharp objects around your LO.

Noah's had his done twice the first time I took him someplace and he screamed the entire time, they don't let kids sit on parents laps here. Last week I got so sick of how long his hair was, I just cut it myself and I'll have my bil fix it when we go home in a few weeks.

I don't know when I'll be able to cut Leah's hair. Probably when she gets a lot older and I can actually straighten it. Her hair is so thick and curly...so she doesn't need it. It stays in pony tails most of the time.

Caleb has had 3 hair cuts and has done great with each one. During the last hair cut he was fidgety so I gave in and let him have a lollipop during the cut and he sat still while he ate it. Oh, I sit in the chair and hold Caleb on my lap. The hair dresser puts an apron over both of us. LOL
