I know I've asked a lot about bedtime stuff previously. I'm just curious how everyone's evening routine goes. We get up around 5 or 5:30 am in order to be out the door by 6:30, so what's been working for us right now is to give Ellie dinner at 5:30, she's in the bathtub by 6 at the latest, and then we brush our teeth, read, and she nurses to sleep. I've been working on night weaning her and giving her a sippy cup of water at night instead of letting her nurse after the first time. I'm wondering if I should be giving her a snack right before she goes to sleep at 7, or if she doesn't really need it since she eats at 5:30.

we have dinner between 5 30-6, then Ross gets a bath, usually around 6-630, after he is out of the tub he gets a bottle and then goes to bed, he is usually in bed by 7pm, we dont do a bedtime snack, he usually eats well at dinner and drinks 6-9oz of milk so i think hes full enough from that he doesnt need it.

We have dinner between 6-7 then bath (usually every other day but if they get messy we do it then) brush hair and teeth and put their eczema cream on and then they come in the frontroom and watch nick jr until they fall asleep which is anywhere from 10-midnight

We also get up early so Miranda is normally up by 6am. We get home at 6pm, so the routine is pretty much try to feed everyone between 6pm - 7pm and then let the kids play or watch tv for a bit and then I give Miranda a bottle (which she either drinks or doesn't) and sometime between 7pm - 8pm, depending on how tired she is, I change her into her jammies, cuddle and tuck her into her crib for the night. We somehow manage to squeeze a bath in there 2-3 times/week. She doesn't usually eat very much at night and sometimes she doesn't even drink more than a few sips of the milk. And there is no night feedings, she sleeps the whole night through.
So I guess to answer your question, if you notice that she's waking up and wanting food in the night, I would give her a snack before bed time, otherwise I wouldn't worry about it.

We don't get home until 7, so its dinner right when we get home, Holden plays for a little bit while I clean up dinner, then bath, a bottle & cuddles (sometimes a book) and bed around 8-8:30.

We have dinner between 5 - 6, then my LO gets an 8oz milk bottle and he usually takes his time drinking it while playing. He gets a bath around 6:30 or 7, and goes to bed around 8. Some nights I give him 3 oz of milk before bed if he didn't eat a good dinner or if we ate early, but usually he is just finishing his dinner bottle as we are getting in the bathtub, so in that case I wouldn't give him any milk or snack at bedtime. The Ped. told me a while back that they only need milk with their 3 meals a day and that a bedtime bottle is not needed.

supper between 5-6, play/read/cuddle/jammies, around 7 or so we'll give him a sippy of milk and I carry him to his room where I stand by his crib swaying back and forth as he lays his head on my shoulder and we do that for a minute and then I lay him down and tuck him in.

Supper between 530-600. Bath afterwards (every other night) brush teeth, have sippy cup playtime or cuddles whatever her mood is. Then its bedtime between 7pm-830. All depends on if she had a nap that day or her mood. But lately it seems her bed time has been pushed to around 700-730 (last week or so) and for the most part its been nice. She is up anywhere from 6-800 depending.

She don't get any snack outside of her milk after supper.

Jackson still nurses at night (overnight) so my routine probably doesn't matter to you but:

We eat dinner around 5:30-6, I clean up while he plays for a few minutes, and he is usually in the bath around 6:30. I brush his teeth, put lotion and PJs on him, comb his hair, all while singing lullabies After that, he pretty much is always telling me "nightnight" and pulling at my shirt, meaning he wants to go to bed, so we get into bed and he nurses to sleep, he is usually out like a light by 7:15.

We get home around 6 so we have dinner at6 or 6:30. Then we wash up or take a bath, brush teeth and then have "family snuggle time"

If DH is home he joins us in the bed where we read stories and snuggle with the doggy and then nurse.

Usually he is in his crib around 7:30.
