Do you still use a high chair when feeding your LO or do you use a booster seat? I have both in the kitchen, I use the high chair is for main meals, and the booster is for quick snacks or for when I didn't get the high chair cleaned in time. I'm wondering at what age do you retire the high chair. I'm really tired of cleaning it, there are 2 parts to the tray to be washed each time, and crumbs always get stuck in the creases of the cushion part and then fall under the cushion into all the crevices of the plastic.

Claire is still in her high chair, and I don't plan to retire it until there is another baby to put in it When she drops things onto the floor she wants to lean over and get them, so I think if she were in a booster she'd dive right out.

High chair. No plans on moving him out of it for a long time. It makes it much easier

We don't have room for a high chair, so we use a booster seat with a tray. I snap him in and it is just like a high chair.

I turned Ellie's high chair into a booster seat, but we still leave the tray on it when she's eating. It's one of those high chair/boosters you strap on to a regular chair. It's easier to clean without the cover it had on it as a high chair.

Booster seat. Hallie started refusing to go in her high chair several months ago. She'd scream every time I sat her in it. Our kitchen is very small so I was happy to move it out and replace it with a booster seat!

We have a space saver and for the longest time we didn't have the tray on but she started to push on the table with her feet so yeah she almost tipped over a few times. The tray is on but she is at the table with us still.

She will go to a booster seat when Joshua is ready to go in the chair. So thinking maybe around 18 months for her.

Stevie is in a high chair and will most likely stay there until the next baby needs a high chair or he refuses.

I'm with Ginni. I use it not only for meals but also for time out, crafts, or just when I need make sure she doesn't get into something while I'm not able to watch her. I usually retire it once the child is able to get out of the straps and is able to sit on a regular chair at the table. I don't like booster seats . They are good for traveling but not at my house.
