Tommy only eats bits and pieces at a time, he would rather drink his milk. I try to give him little snacks through the day since he will not eat a meal. It's bits and pieces, I get nervous its not enough.

I don't give Claire milk during the day...just when she wakes up and before bed. Not sure if I'm supposed to be doing that or not, but she does eat 3 good meals and has a sippy with water at meals. Yesterday was a pretty average day...she had half of a banana, a waffle, and yogurt for breakfast. For lunch we did chicken, mixed veggies, and macaroni and cheese, and then supper was tortellini soup (hamburger, 4-cheese tortellini, green beans, tomatoes) and applesauce.

How much milk is he drinking? Does anyone know right off how much they are supposed to be drinking at this age...sometimes I worry that Claire is not getting enough.

Ellie does a lot of snacking between meals, but she still eats pretty well. She generally just eats whatever we are eating. I think they're supposed to have between 16-25 oz of milk a day, but if they're eating other dairy, it's not so much. Ellie eats a lot of cheese and yogurt. I don't really track how much milk she's drinking. Some days she drinks a lot and some days she prefers water.

Ross loves to snack during the day, so he snacks on his meals all day long, he does eat really well at dinner though, we all sit in the kitchen so i think he is less distracted by toys and other things

Joey eats good at some meals, and not at others. I think that's normal though. He always wants his milk too. I try to get him to eat the meal first with a sippy cup of water, then when he is done I give him a bottle of milk. If I give him the bottle with the food then he won't each much food. Also I try to give him 2 snacks a day, mid morning and afternoon, while sitting in the booster seat. He knows that seat means snack time, and I don't let him snack while he is roaming around the house playing. If it's too close to the the next meal time then I wont give him a snack. Maybe you can try not letting him snack for a day and see if he eats his 3 meals? Or restrict the snack to be eaten in one sitting then make him wait until the next meal time to eat.

Miranda doesn't want milk during the day. She would much rather eat by herself, basically she'll try anything she can get her hands on. And she'd snack all day long if I let her.

Liam eats the best for breakfast. Bowl of oatmeal, milk and yogurt generally. Lunch he does pretty decent and dinner is usually a fight. We try to do the snack thing between meals like he gets in daycare. He loves milk. He probably gets closer to the 25 ounce range for milk than 16
