Did your name/s move up or down?

Are you happy with it's popularity/unpopularity?

Emily is number 9. I love her name- it's classic and she won't have people asking "how do you spell that" although I have seen Emmaleigh, and some other crazy spellings.

sydney is 56. Not sure where it was last year. I'm actually surprised it's not on the boys list too ...I think I remember it one year being on both.

Margaret still isn't on the list. The list never weighed in on our decision, but I'm just as happy with it as I was the day we gave it to her. The name is perfect for her. And I'm kinda glad it's not more popular. Everyone comments on how you never hear that name anymore when we tell them her name.

Let's see Ethan is #7, thats fine by me =) Cadence WAS #75 now its not even on there. Alexander is 21, so not too too popular.

Our new name isn't on there either for the baby, but that's to be expected, its sort of unique.

Wyatt moved up to #40. I don't think of it as being that popular - we don't know any other Wyatt's and I've never taught anyone with that name.

DD on the other is not there. I'm good with that.

Thomas-Ty I do not think will ever been on there as a hyphenated first name

Julia is #72 but she is named after her 4xgreat-grandma and had nothing to do with a "list". And Amber and Nicole arent even on there anymore.

Juliana is #78, which is about where she was last year. I was shooting for a name that's unique but not too crazy unique. When I was born, "Mariah" was not even in the top 500 names but when Mariah Carey became famous in the early 90's it shot into the top 100 and even top 50 for a while. I was happy when it became a little more common because after that, it was only misspelled 50% of the time instead of 99% of the time!

Leah is #51, and I think that's about where it was last year. I had no idea that girl on 16 & Pregnant had a baby named Leah, and I think that's why it's become so popular
