So tomorrow is my mom's 64th birthday. Unfortunately she's not here to celebrate it because she passed away 7 years ago from cancer. For many years this was a really hard day because I missed her so much. I am feeling more upbeat than normal this year, so hopefully tomorrow will be a good day.

I'm glad you are feeling a little better this year. I lost my Dad to cancer 3 years ago, and though I still miss him a lot, it does get a little easier with time. Happy Birthday to your Mom

Thank you everyone! It was actually a pretty good day We went out to breakfast in the AM, and then tidied up the house and hung out during the day. Some friends came over for dinner and mini Xmas at night, so it was just a busy day.
