So I know not everyone agrees with vaccinations, but I get a flu shot every year since I work in a classroom full of germs. I kept putting it off this year and man am I regretting it today. So today is a lying around on the couch watching tv day. I'm lucky cause MIL took Ellie for me today. What is your favorite thing to do when you're sick? Has it changed since you had kids?

The only time I have a sick day is when I'm truly incapacitated. I mean, I've got to have either a really high fever or throwing up all day or have a really bad migraine where I can't even keep my eyes open.
In a way I'm lucky that 3 of my kids go to school full time and the baby is at the sitter all day, so I technically could lie in bed. Not that it ever happens, because there are so many other things to do and just not enough hours in the day. I had one day recently where I just had to lie in bed with the migraine but even then I get a kid come and talk to me every 5 minutes.
Frankly I don't like to leave things in someone elses (DH's) hands, because then I have to clean up the mess afterwards. It's not worth it being sick.

When I used to get sick days, I like to sleep all day...lol. Now I don't get sick days, so I have to muddle through it.
