Animal sounds. Dog goes wOOhwOOh, cat goes moow, goat goes maamaa. She also insists on helping me do laundry, ie putting clothes in washer and/or drawers!

animal sounds and counting
She's still addicted to the kitchen, so when I'm cooking dinner, half the time it's with one hand so she can see what's happening in the pots and on the counter.

We have worked on animal sounds too. She knows gorilla, dog, elephant, monkey, cat, lion, tiger (lion and tiger sound a lot alike, lol). Most of the time, I'm still trying to figure out what she is saying...

Colors: I tell her the color and she points to the Christmas light of that color. It's her favorite game right now. We're also starting shapes and counting to 3. She really doesn't know how to count at all but she'll point to each item while I count.
I'm also teaching her to put her toys away. When we read a book I tell her to put one away and go get a new one, and she does it!

counting, letters, how to drink from a normal cup...I also want to start teaching her how to cover her mouth when she coughs. Can't teach them that too early right! Not sure if she'll get it..but we'll see.

yeah..she loves it. I'm still not comfortable letting her sit there with it on her own. she can pick it up and drink from it once or twice on her own..then she usually spills it after that! I have these plastic cups from Ikea (super cheap!) that I 've been using with her...but she is still more interested in my breakable glass to drink out of instead (of course!)

I'm still getting comfortable with her using a closed lid with a straw. Won't let her hold any of them on her own but her leak proof sippy cups.

Leah's still not talking all that much. So I'm really working on her enunciation and getting her to use words more often. She can point to several animals, but she can't verbally make the sounds of the animals yet. No counting or ABC's here yet either. I'm not worried yet. Her comprehension is very good.
