Does your toddler ever hit you when they are mad and throwing a tantrum?

YES! We are definitely at that stage, and I think a lot of it has to do with her frustration with not being able to communicate her wants/needs yet. I tell her "we no hit, we give hugs and kisses," and that usually catches her off guard enough to give me a hug and stop the tantrum.

London too, but she will hit anything when she is angry. If she wants something she can't have she will hit Caden, the couch, chair, floor just to let out her frustrations. She will even purposely kick or knock stuff off a table (e.g newspapers, magazines) OMG! what am I going to do with this fiesty one year old...

Not yet. If she gets mad, she usually just throws herself on the floor and has a tantrum.

yes...she's done hitting, kicking, biting, flailing and tantruming. We tell her no pretty firmly, and make her apologize. She's not consistent on the apology, but she's close. And then she kisses our boo boo better.

And it's not meant to sound like it's all day long either...we maybe have one incident per day which I think isn't out of the ordinary given how frustrated these kids are about not being able to communicate what they want, but I think we caught biting quick enough. Hitting/kicking and tantruming are taking more of an effort.
