Before Juliana I was a total Bah Humbug. DH and I never bothered with a Christmas tree or lights. Now we do it because she loves it. DH and I don't really get each other Christmas presents, but I think I'll have to get him something this year so he has something under the tree with Juliana. Maybe just something little.

I think for me it depends on what scale you apply to Christmas Freak. I've never been bah humbug, but I'm not a Griswaldian Christmas Freak...BUT, I love it too much. I way overspend on gifts for people (usually several small things for everyone, rather than larger gifts), and our stockings are all gargantuan...BUT, I try to keep the decorating rather tasteful. I'm more Martha Stewart Christmas crazy, than Sparky Griswald.

I was a bah humbug for a while, and now I'm starting to get into it some more. I just wish we had family that lived close by. That would make the holidays so much better.

I wouldnt say I am a Grinch but I am pretty low key about holidays in general. It's hard for me to see past the excess and waste and I hate to think about families going into debt to do it. I just can't really enjoy the holiday without thinking about all of that.

I love Christmas! It's so much fun decorating, picking gifts for everyone, baking (and eating) sweets... and egg nog! <-- Yep, I used all three Christmas smileys!
