Cell phones

Who has a smartphone? Do you use it to get online a lot? If you don't have one, would you like one?

I've had some type of smartphone for years and years now and I feel naked when I'm without it. lol. I use it to get online all the time, but I do try to keep it put away when I'm out with people at least.

My sister took a pic at Thanksgiving that is my dad, me, DH, my nephew and my BIL all sitting on the couch playing games on our phones. haha!

I dont have a smart phone, I have a plain old cell phone, the only have it for in case of emergencies (and when I texted Lori after Will was born - totally an emergency

We do use the internet but not as much. I mainly use FB or words with friends. I'm addicted to WWF even though I get into a slump and don't play for a few days.

I used to have the old flip phone but it kept losing connection. I think I dropped it a few too many times. It was time to upgrade. So I got me a LG Optimus Chat. However, I don't use it for internet. I don't have a data plan and I blocked it from calling out on it's own...like it was trying to do. I can't afford it. So just using it for calls and text, but I like the touch screen. So I just look like I'm with the times.

I have an iphone, and I am in love with it. I don't even remember what life was like before it! I do use it for the internet, but I'd rather use my laptop. I do use it to check email a LOT, and Tetris is my guilty pleasure

I have an old flip phone. I am so bad at taking it along- it's for emergencies also- half the time it's in a pocket in the closet. I don't think I am getting an upgrade any time soon. Maybe if I would be working I would get one? If the phones and the dataplans weren't so ridiculously expensive I would get one.

These days I use the internet more on my phone than I do on my computer. When Ellie is at daycare all day, she wants all my attention focused on her when we get home in the afternoon usually. She gets pretty grumpy if I try to sit down at the computer. But she'll let me use the phone if I'm sitting with her watching tv or she's nursing, so that's when I get most of my internet in during the week.

I don't have a smartphone and don't want one. I'm not going to pay all that extra money to access the internet and such when I can just do that on my computer at home. It drives me nuts when I'm with my family and their all on their phones playing games on the internet. Seriously?!? I miss the days when smartphones didn't exist. There's more to life. You don't need to be on the internet and playing games 24/7. Plus it's so expensive. Anyways...that's just my opinion. I know some people actually use them for business and such, so it is nice for them.

I just got a droid over the summer, this is my first smartphone. I do use it to go online when I am out or on car rides and stuff. Otherwise, I would rather use my home computer, the phone is slow. But dh just got an iphone from his work, I love it. That might be my next phone when my contract is up.

I do have a smartphone. I went to an android from a blackberry. I originally got the BB so I could sign into yahoo while out since that was our main form of communication while DH was deployed. I love my smartphone but done use the internet for anything outside of facebook or if I need ot look something up while out. Groups and all that I wait till home. My next phone will be an iphone.
