Well on Christmas Eve my ILs are having a game night (why..??lol) I'm just needing some ideas, because all I have are kiddy board games (chute and ladders, trouble, connect four...etc)

What are your favorite board games for a Game Night?

pictionary and trivial pursuit was always good for us too. I really enjoy Scene It too. But you have to be movie buffs.

I LOVE scrabble! We also play Yahtzee now and then and trivial pursuit (we have the 80s and 90s editions). We actually played Risk a few days ago...I love playing Risk but it can take forever! This game was actually fairly quick (about 3.5hrs if you can believe that).

OH..I got Taboo as a Christmas gift too..have never played it but hear it's fun too.

Quelf has been out a few years....we played it at a friend's house once and it was crazy weird.

other good options: Taboo/catch phrase, Apples to Apples, Fact or Crap....otherwise there is always Jenga, Mexican Train Dominos, Farkle, Skip-Bo, Phase 10
