Today is my first day of winter break. Don't go back to school until January 9th. Hooray! I sent Ellie to the babysitter since I paid for the day anyway and I'm straightening up the house, doing some last minute decorating and wrapping presents while she's not here to get into them! I also finally put up all our Christmas cards (most of which are from you lovely ladies.)



What do you have going on today? Those of you with older kids, how are you holding up during school vacation?

I'm trying to resist getting drunk right now haha.

My day has been pretty busy so far. I got up, took my oldest to my moms to stay with my step-dad while I took dane and bishop to their well check ups. Then after that, I had to go to the store then back to pick gage up. Came home, had to call the internet people, then got off the phone with them only to immediately get back on the phone with the hospital about bishop's surgery. I've been non stop since I got up and now i just want to do nothing! But I need to clean today.

I did laundry, dishes, cleaned my room, showered, bathed Bryn. I plan to go through kids OLD toys, need to go pick up kids from sil house, OH and I wanted to take a trip to the mall to see if I can find SOMETHING ANYTHING for my dh.

We cleaned our bedroom. Rosie is feeling much better but still not going to go anywhere. We had wanted to go check out this indoor play area but since she was sick yesterday and still a cough figure its best to stay in.
I am having a love hate relationship with shutterfly. FB status says it. But my cards that i ordered before the 15th are not here yet. But the other items I ordered at the same time have all been delivered. So who knows whats up with that.

I went to the chiropractor this am. Then made some hershey kisses-M&M- pretzel treats (I found the recipe on the justmommies site)- they are really cute and yummy. Set up our gingerbread village- cleaned the living room, did laundry, took baby to the library for storytime. I am still washing rugs and got to clean the kitchen. Got to clean in front of the door/garden. So much to clean...

Love how you hung up your cards. Looks so pretty. I just took my cards down b/c it looked so cluttered. Wish I had that idea!
