Now that Christmas is over, what will you do with all the old toys? Do you rotate them or let the open them all at once?

I got a big plastic bin and we went through her toy box, sorted out the ones she doesn't play with and put them away. It was a big bin that we filled up. We are saving them for the next baby...

We will be packing up the ones I'd rotate, donating ones they don't play with anymore and throwing away the broken ones.

We have so many toys that we keep them in bins organized. Once in a while I go through the bins and throw out the crappy ones. We do have some put away in the basement that the older kids don't play with anymore and the younger kids are too young to play with.
I've actually made it a rule for Christmas the everyone only give 1 toy to each kid, because we always ended up with so many things every year. For the older ones they do not get toys anymore, they usually get money or clothes or some kind of electronics devise or game. So luckily not too many toys this year.

Tons of toys!!!! The playroom is insane lol! But I dont mind it because my daughter & my son both play with them all. It is a crazy mess to clean up though, that is for sure!

I'm packing up the ones that Ellie is too old for or doesn't really play with anymore and saving them for our next child. Probably next week before I go back to work, I will pack up some ones that we will rotate through so she doesn't have so many out at once.

THey all are in the toy box. This summer before her birthday we will go through them and get rid of the broken ones if there are any.
